In Remembrance of Frankie Bonacci

Frankie Bonacci

Frankie Bonacci

Dunmore, PA March 22, 1989 ~ July 27, 2013 Date of Service: August 2, 2013

Frankie Bonacci, 24, of Dunmore, was found Saturday evening after dying tragically.

Born in Scranton, son of Robin Barrett Bonacci, Dunmore, and Frank Bonacci of Florida, he was a graduate of Dunmore High School and had been employed as a mechanic with Cole Muffler.   Frankie was a proud supporter of Alcoholics Anonymous, being a best friend to everyone he loved and cared for.  He was always on the go and up for anything, especially enjoying karaoke and dancing, and riding quads.  His smile could light up a room, and in return, he could always make people smile and laugh.  It is his smile that will get us through this heartache and most difficult time.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Joyce, Gino, Doug, and the entire community for all of their love and support.

Also surviving are his grandparents Nick and Jean Tielli, Dunmore, with whom he resided; Robert and Becky Barrett, Blakely; and Marie and Frank Bonacci, Archbald; sisters Jessica Bonacci, Dunmore; and Nicole Francis, Peckville; a niece, Avery Francis; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

The funeral will be Friday with mass at 9:30 a.m. in the St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church, Chestnut St., Dunmore.

Friends may call Thursday from 2-6pm at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore.

All those attending the Mass are asked to go directly to the church on Friday morning.

My sincere condolences to the entire Bonacci family. Frankie was truly wonderful young man. I was fortunate enough to meet Frankie a few years ago when he attended a men spiritual retreat up on the Hudson River in New York.
Frankie was exceptional young man, you instantly loved him, he was honest, kind, friendly, jovial, and above all he loved his family.
Frank was an inspiration to many young people struggling to start a life of sobriety, he was gifted by God to carry a message of hope and a better life by using the twelve steps of AA.
Frank will always be in my prayers, as will you his loved ones. If their is any solace to this terrible tragedy, it's that God called Frank home, his reward for doing such an excellent job of giving of himself here on earth.

Frankie is gone, but he will never be forgotten, he will always live in our heart's.

God Bless You

Sincerely

Jerry Healey

From the time that I first met you at Sound for Scoliosis in 2009 to the time that I last seen you at Sound for Scoliosis in 2012, I never knew that we were related back then. I recently learned that. You have given me 2 great gifts. 1) the love of orange which I have put that into my car and 2) the gift of being a great person. You have thought me how to do anything for anyone and never be anyone other than yourself. Whether it was a stranger, or someone you knew you always thought me to be there for them so that they can give back one day. Really am going to miss all that you have done for my charities over the years ... moving forward they won't be the same. All I have now is to remember the memories and hold them dear for someday my friend we will meet again. May you watch over us with my best friend Captain Minicozzi who passed March 13th last year and guide us to always do the best thing for you have thought live and love life. you only can do it once.
